With a career spanning three decades, award winning multi-platinum selling record producer, Ted Carfrae has worked with some of music's biggest names, Including; Paul McCartney, The Carpenters, Ella Fitzgerald, Queen, Cliff Richard, Sheena Easton, David Cassidy, Cilla Black, Julie Andrews, Henry Mancini and Engelbert Humperdinck, to name just a few. He learned his sound engineering and production skills from legendary record producers and engineers such as Sir George Martin and Geoff Emerick (The Beatles) Tony Visconte (David Bowie, T.Rex) Christopher Neil (Celine Dion) and two of the worlds finest film music recording engineers, John Richards and Dick Lewsey. Ted is also one of the UK's most respected mastering engineers.
It therefore comes as no surprise that Ted Carfrae has earned the reputation for delivering quality product, his production style is both classic and distinctive making hit records that stand the test of time.
As well as record production, Ted has produced music for top rated television series and specials including two series of the BBC's highly successful Star For A Night talent show and the one off TV spectacular, Stars Sing The Beatles featuring country music legend Reba McEntire. More recently, Granada Television asked Ted to deliver the music for three of their hugely successful Saturday night specials, Abba Mania 2, Queen Mania and Madonna Mania.
